Inquisitiveness and unending curiosity is actually what make kids great in business. However, when you ask children what they want to become when they grow up, you will hardly hear them say: "I want to be an entrepreneur". But just look outside your window during summer and you will realize that kid entrepreneurs are around your community. The small lemonade stand manned by the kids in your neighborhood is proof that many children are enterprising; they may just not realize it yet.
If there is one community that children can penetrate with ease, it is the business world. Besides, age really does not matter in business. So if your child has the eye, the passion, and the determination to succeed, plus a little help from other people, then there is really no reason why she can't start becoming a bona fide entrepreneur even when she is just ten or twelve.

In case your child tells you that he wants to become a business mogul, then support him all the way. There are limited courses in business for kids, so encourage your child n to pursue his dream is by asking him to help you out in your family business, if you have one. For those who have none, locate stores or shops that allow kids to work as apprentices during summer or holiday seasons. This will surely help make your child realize that making it big in business is not an easy thing to do. It may also be a good idea to let your children try to become kid entrepreneurs when they have time. Including selling lemonade, you can probably tell them that they can also capitalize on their skills and knowledge in coming up with business ideas.
One of the most popular kid entrepreneurs in the world are the Olsen twins. Even before they reached 18, they already benefit from a big business empire, selling clothes, accessories, books, and many others. However, there are many low profile kids out there who are also making big bucks. Leanna Archer, a kid in New York, started her hair care business at the age of eight. Although it is not yet an empire, it sure is lucrative for her.
