For one, schools usually have good coaches that can help your son or daughter harness his or her skills and talents. Also, school competitions are good training grounds for your kid to assess his skill level. Besides, many kid athletes in the world started loving their particular sport while in school.
More often than not, the teachers and coaches are the ones who discover the talents of potential kid athletes. Thus, you have to be open to the suggestions of your kid's teacher or coach with regard to having your child attend after-school trainings. If your child wants to be the best that he can be, you must be prepared to give him permission to participate in contests, even outside of the country. It is also important for you to show your full support for your kid. So if he is competing or playing, your family must always be there for him.
