I come from a family of artists! My grandmothers and great grandmothers on both sides of my family, as well as my aunt, uncle and cousins are artists. I have painted and doodled my way through life with many revolutions in style and medium. Art has been my window to the world and my voice. I began teaching kids eleven years ago in various subjects and love connecting young people to their own creativity and to the natural world. Over time it has become clear to me that kids + art + teaching was the natural path for me to take.

The natural world has always been my muse. Oak trees, waves and the night sky were my constant subjects. My grandmother Francis was a huge role model for me growing up for the way in which she lived every area of her life as an artist. There was no separation for her. The world was her canvas. My third grade teacher Donna Gould encouraged the little artist in me and set for me the standard of what it means to be a fantastic teacher. And then art. Maxfield Parrish, John William Waterhouse, Gustav Klimt, Alphonse Mucha, MC Escher and more recently the poster artists of the Fillmore Auditorium, Alex Grey, Daniel Marriam and Eyvind Earle. Love them!

Natural Bridge Productions was inspired by my favorite hiking trail in a small National Park in Arizona called the Chiricahua National Monument. I consider myself to be a natural bridge of sorts, connecting young people to their creativity and to the natural world through nature mentoring and art instruction, which is what Natural Bridge Productions is all about!
