Attending seminars, book reading, and summer writing camps are also interesting ways to develop future writers and novelists. Find events where your child can meet his or her favorite author, book illustrator or newspaper journalist during book signings or similar events could really inspire your child to work hard and continue improving his or her writing talent. Before your children can decide to become writers or novelists, introduce them to the different types of writers. Novelists are the ones who make books and long stories; short story writers are the ones who create stories that are usually less than 30 pages; journalists are responsible for writing articles in the newspaper; biographers are people who write about the lives of other people; lyricists are the ones responsible for putting words in a song; copywriters are responsible for making advertising and promotional content for commercials, businesses, people and groups; and web content writers are the new breed of writers who are responsible for creating content for websites.
